This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and run a data architecture plan that supports business goals and objectives.

  • Build and maintain data models and metadata standards to facilitate data integration and analysis.

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements.

  • Work across technical teams and product owners to provide an architectural recommendation that extends the functionality of an existing digital marketplace AWS solution.

  • Lead a technical and technology assessment initiative to develop and deliver a recommendation for digitizing a core business function that is currently being handled by a legacy system.

  • Work with various groups to understand the business opportunity and challenges related to digitizing the Rental process and experience.

  • Understand the current business processes, systems and their functions to be able to develop a recommendation for the clients modernization project.

  • Ensure that data storage and retrieval solutions are in line with business requirements by working with IT teams

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 10+ years hands-on experience as an Enterprise Data Architect.

  • Demonstrable experience having led/participated in Data Architecture Strategy and Roadmap engagements.

  • Hands on experience with data architecture, data models, physical database designs, data integration strategy and design for operational systems, systems integration, and analytical systems.

  • Knowledge and experience in various types of data modeling techniques including 3rd normal form, Canonical modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Vault modeling.

  • Expanded experience with SQL Server (on-premises and on Azure), Azure and AWS platforms, NOSQL DBMS such as Mongo and Cosmos. Knowledge of AS400 platform and DB2/400 a big plus.

  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView - Knowledge of data governance best practices, data quality standards, and data security protocols.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skill.

  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills.

  • Certifications such as TOGAF or CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) preferred but not required.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $106,300 - $251,000.
