Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Senior Life/Annuity Business Analyst with at least 10 years of experience to drive impactful change across our key value streams. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with C-Level executives will help us navigate complex projects and deliver high-level strategic recommendations.
This role can be performed from NYC, NY; Hartford, CT; New Brunswick, NJ; Cary, NC; or Plymouth Meeting, PA in a Hybrid Model.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Senior Life/Annuity Business Analyst, your future duties and responsibilities will include:
Analyzing and Improving Life Insurance Processes: Lead the assessment and enhancement of key value stream areas such as New Business Intake, Underwriting, In-force Servicing, Claims, Billing & Payments, and Producer Management, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Developing and Implementing Solutions: Utilize your expertise in process modeling and rationalization to design and implement improvements across diverse Life/Annuity products, working with various carriers and coordinating across operations and IT areas.
Collaborating with Stakeholders: Facilitate sessions, workshops, and interviews with key business stakeholders, including C-level executives, to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and present findings and recommendations through comprehensive reports and presentations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Lead and facilitate sessions: Guide large group sessions with challenging stakeholders, ensuring productive discussions and effective outcomes.
• Synthesize and analyze information: Identify themes and patterns from complex data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Challenge and innovate: Encourage stakeholders to think creatively and explore new solutions to existing problems.
• Prepare executive presentations: Develop and present high-level findings and recommendations to C-Level executives using PowerPoint.
• Collaborate across functions: Work with operations, IT, and business stakeholders to enhance processes and systems related to Life and Annuity products.
• Drive process improvements: Model, rationalize, and consolidate business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:
• Experience with multiple carriers: Exposure to different Life/Annuity carriers and their processes.
• Cross-functional expertise: Experience working across both operations and IT departments.
• Organizational assessment: Some experience in assessing or designing organizational structures would be beneficial.
• Consulting techniques: Familiarity with facilitation sessions, prioritization workshops, and individual/group interviews.
Education: University bachelor's degree in business administration or Related Field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800 - 228,100.
