The SR. Business Analyst will lead the analysis activities of IT projects for ManTech clients through elicitation and documentation of business and system level requirements, impact assessments and ad-hoc analyses as needed to support project goals and without detailed direction or tasking.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Work with the customer to detail and convert business requirements into system functional, non-functional, and operational requirements
Works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements and business processes
Develop, maintain, and provide feedback for customer process documentation
Provide clear and concise requirements documentation to include business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Develop process models, use cases, and scenarios
Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communication
Works well as a team, as well as individually, at all levels of an organization to obtain knowledge that facilitates problem resolution
Facilitate and manage group requirements review session
Manage requirements and artifacts in appropriate requirements management tools (Collab tool, Serena RM, and SharePoint)
Research background information in order to be more effective and to facilitate understanding of overall program activities
Support the testing process by providing documentation, researching questions, and providing timely answers
Keep management informed of progress and solicit assistance when a road block is present
Participate in the interview process for various levels of BAs
Maintains confidentially of information as specified by ManTech Information Security Department
Mentor and serve as a resource for team members
Support transition of newly hired employees to our business
Assure work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content
All other duties as assigned or directed
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
A Bachelors Degree
6+ years of experience as a business analyst
Experience with a variety of requirements elicitation and management techniques
Experience with a modern requirements management tool such as DOORS, Requisite Pro, Quality Center, or Caliber RM
Experience leading analysis activities of other BAs on a software development team
E Experience with SAFe Agile methodology is a requirement
I IBA CBAP certification a plus
Education and/or formal training may substitute for experience requirement.

Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Must be able to adapt to organizational change
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Flexibility and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented
Ability to accurately prepare written business correspondence and deliverables that are coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging
Identify customers strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement
Improve upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current industry practices into fresh alternative solutions
Ability to elicit requirements using a variety of techniques, including: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or view points
Assist with the development of functional specifications (and, possibly, system design specifications) for client engagements
Understand technical design specifications
Experience utilizing requirements management tools
Possess a strong attention to detail
Demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day work
Demonstrates strong collaboration and inter-team skills. Comfortable working with cross functional teams and moving between leadership and peer roles
Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members
Follow through with commitments and foster mutual trust with fellow innovators
Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Manage expectations that are set with client and communicate when issues/events may affect delivery
Understand the necessity of project standards and apply standards consistently
Ability to negotiate and build consensus
Ability to successfully lead a small team to meet its objectives and mentor team members
