Position Description:

CGI is looking for an experienced Storage and Backup Manager to lead our growing team.

Our storage and backup team supports over 2 PB of data and it's growing every day. We are looking for an individual who can lead this team as our footprint expands and we bring in new technologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Manage a growing team of Storage and Backup professionals

• Manage team productivity with leadership, guidance and a learning environment that results in employee retention and personal growth.

• Define and implement standards that improve the Storage and backup processes

• Promote and cultivate a client-focused, service-oriented culture within the team.

• Manage effective working relationships with internal and external customers.

• Ensure processes meet all audit and budget requirements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Must have 5+ years experience managing a technical storage and/or backup team.

• Working knowledge of SAN fabrics, HDS and EMC enterprise arrays

• Working knowledge of Commvault backup products

• Must be able to work closely with other towers to ensure effective delivery of our Storage and Backup solutions

• Must be able to manage to a budget, forecast new expenses and increase efficiencies when possible

• Must be able to motivate existing staff and recruit new talent as needed.
