Position Description:

This is to work in a development team for a major bank’s customer facing application and to manage interactions for that and a 3rd party vendor application. As a Google APIGEE engineer, you should have a software development background and be able to facilitate, design, and develop technical solutions. You will interact with Lead Developers, System Analysts, Business Users, Architects, Test Analysts, Project Managers and peer developers to review system requirements, design and develop software solutions and enhancements. Technical solutions and supporting deliverables will be constructed to enable the client to accomplish its business objectives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Needs to have at least 7+ years of overall IT experience

• Installation, Configuration, Migration, Fix Packs of Apigee v4 on Redhat Linux, Windows.

• Must possess experience developing API and security policies on platforms like Google Apigee

• Must possess good working knowledge of API platform features like security, monitoring, metering, monetization and developer portal

• Experience working with tools like Git, Jenkins, uDeploy

• Experience working with Ansible, Shell scripting

• Ability to programmatically verify services.

• Ability to guide and understand best practices

• Ability to guide support to get changes pushed from test to QA and to prod.

• Ability to guide Line of Business IT teams to fulfil security / change requests.

• Excellent communication and thought leadership skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand technical issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  1. Detail oriented with excellent organization and analytical skills

  2. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines;

  3. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments.

  4. Following all prescribed Target processes, standards, and reviews

  5. Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.

  6. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand technical issues.

  7. Working knowledge in DevOps tools like Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy and Git.

  8. An inherent ability to solve problems and provide solutions.

  9. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
