Position Description:

CGI is seeking to hire a Hadoop Spark Developer to join their team in Pittsburgh PA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

In this role you will provide Project Life cycle activities on the development and maintenance of relating to Big Data and data warehousing initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 6 years of strong hands-on experience in Hadoop, Spark, Scoop.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Hadoop ecosystem, i.e. Hadoop, Hbase, Hive, and Python

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Design and architecture review.

• Knowledge of OFCCM Mantas would be a nice to have

• Experience with data mapping, development, data validation and modeling validation.

• Experience with Informatica ETL framework for complex warehouses/marts

• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle DB.

• Knowledge of large data sets and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting

• Hands-on development experience with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.

• Work exposure in agile projects.

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

• Analytical skills

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Education: Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field.
