CGI is seeking a technical lead to join our growing team supporting life science clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services.. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This technical lead will work at various CGI/ clients consulting and executing various life science business and IT initiatives pertaining to infrastructure and migration
This role can be houses out of the Eastern Time Zone. Right now its remote until further notice but will be onsite at a date to be named later in MD
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Our Philly metro life science accounts are global bio pharmaceutical companies dedicated to the discovery and development of innovative drug therapies. We are seeking a dedicated PMO Consultant for one our of key accounts to assist with the planning, coordination and tracking of various projects and budgets for one of our major programs. The Project Specialist will collaborate closely with program managers and staff to provide support for a range of project planning/management activities.
Works in a team setting performing a wide range of complex and confidential project duties to support program/worksteams/projects/business unit. Communicates with and provides services to a wide range of internal and external contacts. Anticipates and resolves problems; updates supervisor on status of projects.
Essential Functions Of The Job
• Provide support and assistance to this highly visible program and delegates in completion of all required tasks to meet departmental and project goals.
• Responsible for the maintenance of plans within our clients application platforms and communicating project status in designated venues.
• Generate and publish weekly reports; incorporate process improvements in developing new reports.
• Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Providing administrative support as needed.
• Undertaking project tasks as required.
Assists in managing and facilitating program/project scheduling and data tracking to enhance project quality and process consistency.
• Works with PM to build out and maintain the integrated program/project schedule using specified project management tools, Experience with back office PMO activities – facilitating timelines and activities across CGI and client, managing financials, managing project team and stakeholder expectations
o Supports PM in tracking progress of activities/milestones
o Examines program/project documentation/data for completeness and accuracy
o Supports the Project Manager’s administrative workload by owning administrative duties for Project Managers.
o Schedules key program/project-related meetings
o Captures minutes for relevant program/project meetings
o Maintains and reports on program/project Budget and Actuals by coordinating with the Project Financial Analyst and Program/Project Manager
o Assists in execution of all communications internal to the project team (excluding the communications managed by OCM team)
o Produces regular and ad hoc reporting in the form of required dashboard reports, as per requirements (Impact/Priority, Key Leadership updates, etc.)
o Assists/ Facilitate resource capacity planning as necessary
o Candidate must have excellent skills in excel, power point, MS- project and MS-Visio
o Good understanding of project financial management
o Ability to navigate complex program governance structure
o Excellent in planning virtual events , team building activities etc.
