Position Description:

CGI is seeking candidates with 7+ years of experience in IT industry as a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst. The resource will support a multi-year client engagement with a large state permitting and enforcement agency starting with business process and requirements definition through system customization and implementation.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Evaluate and validate clients’ business needs and requirements

• Participate in requirements workshops/JAD sessions to confirm business needs and requirements

• Create valid business scenarios based on available functional documentation and engage business analysts to finalize all-inclusive testing scenarios for each assigned project.

• Create issue logs/tickets with sufficient information for business analysts/developers to understand and review issues. Store test scenarios/results in Ensemble.

• Update Test Summary with status of testing activities.

• Produce detailed written documentation, including issue logs/tickets with sufficient information for understanding and reviewing issues found. Produce test scenarios/results. Provide a Test Summary with status of testing activities.

• Lead and/or participate in Unit/System Testing & overall Quality Control efforts

• Excellent client interaction skills in support of formal requirements gathering sessions (e.g., JAD sessions), as well as informal requirements sessions (e.g., one-on-one potentially with senior level staff)

• Validate user interface designs

• Assist with user testing and training sessions

• Meet tight project deadlines according to release schedules

• Managing and escalating issues/risks for resolution

• Experience with creating and interpreting SQLs

• Provide production support for functionality in production

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

7+ years previous Quality Assurance experience (quality inspection, auditing, and testing).

• 5+ years leading Quality Assurance teams.

• Prior experience with Grant Management Systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience with office productivity tools (e.g., Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and groupware applications (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint)

• Excellent client interaction skills in support

• Experience working with Relational Database software (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)

• Experience with unit and system testing sessions

• Experience with training
