Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Data Orchestration SME Level 2 provides significant technical contributions to complex specialized work efforts in the fields of data management, data analysis, product development, rapid prototyping, software development, cloud engineering, information security, intelligent automation, data analytics, or data science.

• Serves as a recognized expert in technology development, implementation, and execution at enterprise scale.

• Possesses niche expertise in business areas, mission execution, or specialized domain areas outside of FDIC’s core mission (e.g., geospatial technology, blockchain, smart contracts, graph analytics, high-performance computing, containerization, data labeling *not an all-inclusive list).

Responsibilities may include establishing system information requirements, developing prototypes, writing software, establishing configuration management best practices for a development team, developing advanced analytic techniques, transitioning prototypes to a production environment, and leading user-centered innovation or change management initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Ten (15) years of related work experience and specialized expertise in at least one of the following fields: data management, data analysis, product development, rapid prototyping, software development, cloud engineering, information security, intelligent automation, data analytics, or data science.

• Experience in managing enterprise data management infrastructure, including managing on-premises systems and cloud migration efforts

• Proficient in configuration and administration of enterprise-level data stores, ETL methods, batch and streaming data transport, and API development

• Understanding of data technologies to include but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure Database services

• Experience utilizing program and project management tools, such as TFS/Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Microsoft Project to plan, execute, and measure projects.

• Experienced overseeing enterprise-level data operations, ideally of similar size and scope to this contract

• Proficient in agile development methodologies and have demonstrated experience leading a team of engineers

• Experience in developing and executing action plans to ensure security compliance and respond to findings if they occur

Analyze security requirements and design/build solutions to meet them. Provide necessary security implementation documentation Lead Data Engineer.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $109300 – $236,000
