Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Dynamics Functional Consultant (Trade & Logistics) to join our CGI team who will provide in-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance / Supply Chain Management application, bringing subject matter expertise in procurement, Sales and Supply Chain Management.

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the US where CGI has an office, however the right candidate must have the ability to travel to the client site in San Diego, CA as needed.

In this role, you will evaluate the customers’ requirements, business processes and current issues to develop models and provide effective solutions. This role demands a solid understanding of various business processes, including but not limited to Order Management and Pricing, Procurement and Sourcing, Trade Agreement and Purchase Agreements.

Responsibilities encompass overseeing and actively participating in system design, initialization, database management, integration design, fit-gap analysis, training, and reporting aspects of D365 F&SCM implementations.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact

• Participate in discovery meetings with the client to understand current business processes that need to be incorporated into ERP solutions

• Work with the client to understand legacy data components and identify whether and how to migrate that data to the new system

• Familiarity with best practices for managing business processes and transacting in ERP systems across a broad array of industries

• Identify and present to client’s sound solutions for addressing business processes that aren’t fully accomplished by core functionality in ERP systems

• Configure ERP application as required to conform to business process requirements

• Provide on-going support to end users, assisting with trouble shooting or additional training via email, phone, or site visits

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of significant industry experience within manufacturing, warehousing, or supply chain management

• 5+ years of Microsoft ERP implementation experience, preferably D365 Finance/Supply Chain

• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics D365 Finance/Supply Chain highly desirable

• Experience with associated tools and technologies such as DEVOPS, SQL Reporting Services or Microsoft Power Platform are highly desirable

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills

• Proven written, verbal communication and demonstration, presentation skills

• Communication skills, to include the ability to communicate effectively with customer and CGI stakeholders at all levels and work through tough issues with customers, CGI team members, and/or subcontractors, partners, or third-party vendors

• Timely, decisive, and effective problem-solving skills

• Behave in an ethical and professional manner

• Handle the pressures of simultaneous tasks, issues, problems, and ambiguity

Be flexible as to behavior or work methods in response to changes or new obstacles on a project.

Participating global client implementations or projects- 5 or more years’

Participating Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations - 3 or more years’

Leading work streams in ERP implementation project - 2 or more years’

Microsoft Azure DevOps experience - 2 or more years’

D365 Certification, MB300, MB320/330

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $74,600 - $165,200.
