CGI Federal is looking to add to a very diverse team of functional, technical, and development experts that work in an hybrid-AGILE environment to create a unified system that supports our Momentum client’s needs. The ideal candidate for this position is a problem solver. As a Functional Analyst, you will use your knowledge, skills, and abilities to solve organizational information challenges and will use your critical thinking skills to identify client requirements and translate those into detailed instructions for our development team to execute. The ideal Functional Analyst also has strong writing and communication skills, and is able to build relationships with both their team members and clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will closely work with client business owners/stakeholders to understand their vision, document it and help identifying the priority and business value of the requirements. As a Functional Specialist your focus is the requirement gathering, and interacting with stakeholders, development, and project teams to make sure that all requirements are understood and clear. The Functional Analyst forms a bridge between the service that CGI provides and the needs of the client.

You will provide support for O&M tasks including maintaining JIRA tickets, quarterly releases, and monthly and annual reconciliation support. You will also do enhancement work – gathering and documenting requirements, design, and configurations, and performing testing (system, integration, regression, smoke, performance, and supporting UAT).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 3+ years Momentum experience. (Preferred experience with PCAS and AR Momentum modules, and experience with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and General Systems.)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or MIS

• Gathering high-level requirements (business, functional and technical) using collaborative, interactive meetings with the customers, stakeholders and the development team

• Working with the Program Manager, Business Owners and development team to bridge the gap in understanding the vision and requirements

• Prioritizing backlog in collaboration with the client and development team

• Conducting planning and review meetings with the CGI team and client

• Preparing meeting minutes to be distributed to a variety of audiences and participants

• Preparing and maintaining project deliverables, documents and artifacts

• Development and Maintenance of Design and Technical Documents

• Identify solutions to resolve business problems by utilizing problem solving and analytical skills and documenting the "why" and "what" of the business problem

• Performs unit, regression, system testing and assists with user acceptance testing

• Excellent analysis and logic skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent perception and understanding skills in order to understand what the clients require

• Good writing skills in order to prepare reports

• Ability to evaluate all the information gathered critically

• Good computer skills in order to prepare graphic reports and make presentations

• Must be organized and meticulous in work

• Must possess good interpersonal skills

• Good understanding about the technical functions of the company

• Good understanding of the clients business

• Agile experience and a broad range of IT knowledge/experience is preferred

• Flexibility, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, including remote team members

• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills

Est. Salary/Hourly Range (Colorado Only): $59,000 - 140,000*
