Position Description:

We are seeking an Application Business Analyst (HMI or SCADA or process control software) to join our CGI team in Salt Lake City, UT!

This is a full-time career opportunity in supporting a leading global client!

• Interact with business/process owners, perform requirement analysis, and map to available software applications in software asset catalog

• Gathers information from users and analyze end to end process/workflow

• Work with software asset management team, architecture board and others to identify suitable software

• If new software is needed to be procured, help with benefits analysis, risk analysis, acquisition process

• Participate in planning session for installation and provide, resource requirement to project managers

Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact

• Assist with approval and review of applications needed for building out of new project

• Work with global Software Asset Management (SAM) team and Architecture Board for approval for software

• Provide input on applications that align more with client’s future, rather than tools that may be antiquated or not as much have enterprise buy from central/corporate IT

• Assist with providing installations and support costs for applications

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring

• 3-5 years of Application Support Analyst or Business Analyst experience

• Nice to have awareness of process control software, Data Historian, HMI, SCADA software

• Being able to work in person onsite

• Collaborator management and good communication skills

• Coordinate with global collaborators

• Good with MS-office and MS-Project Tools

• Mostly work from office, but ability to work in construction/hazardous area on need basis

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $133,500.”
