Position description

• Responsible for the management and overall coordination, status reporting and stability of a variety of enterprise wide projects. Establishes and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.

• Responsible for assembling project plans, teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis. Identifies resource needs, performs quality reviews, accesses and mitigates risk.

• Escalates functional quality and timeline issues appropriately. Responsible for tracking costs, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.

• Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Designs, implements, evaluates and audits project management processes and templates.

Future duties and responsibilities

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.

• Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies, including guiding the team on how to use SAFe Agile/Scrum practices, principles and theory and help the team reach higher levels of maturity in the SAFe framework.

• Flexible and demonstrated ability to change, to be organized, proactive, and have a sense of urgency. Hands on experience with application development, architecture and software maintenance.

• Demonstrate Servant Leadership by building a trusting scrum team environment utilizing where problems can be raised without fear of blame or retribution - with a focus on improving the process.

• Ensure team updates and statuses are maintained in the system of record and completed on time with high quality. Articulate key messages succinctly and clearly.

• Prepare metrics and translate into actions to ensure the team(s) adjusts to deliver on objectives.

• Track and communicate team progress. Leverage data to measure & monitor progress. (Burndown charts, etc.)

• Build, develop, and grow any relationships vital to the success of the project.

• Learn applicable knowledge, systems and technologies used by the team.

• Take ownership of day to day issues and escalations and bring issues to resolution.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

• Demonstrated experience with problem solving outside-the-box to find solutions that mitigate risks/issues, rather than blindly following process

• Experience in a large-scale IT organization with complex systems environment & infrastructure

• Highly organized, self-starter requiring minimal supervision

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• ADO, TFS, JIRA or similar experience.

• Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Scrum Master.

• Experience with large systems integration or data conversions or migrations.

• Prior experience working in the healthcare (claims) or financial services industry leading system implementation is preferable.

Practicing servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual learning & improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

Flexible and demonstrated ability to change, to be organized, proactive, and have a sense of urgency.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to support and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $66,000-$110,000*
