Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Director, Operations Manager, and Program Managers. Provide all functions associated with meeting the needs of the office including, but not limited to, tracking of customer documentation and information, and drafting correspondence. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the procurement process, reporting time and attendance, making travel and meeting arrangements, and special projects. May provide administrative support to other staff and visitors.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Director, Program Managers, and Leads.

• Coordinate facility-wide meetings and other business-related functions, including scheduling, meeting, invitations, obtaining/organizing required resources, and execution.

• Process incoming correspondence documents (including tracking, distribution, and filing) and outgoing correspondence/documents (letter drafting, tracking, mailing, faxing).

• Manage electronic transfer of technical documents via customer portal, included coversheet creation, tracking/reporting, and transmittal.

• Assist with procurement as needed and complete invoicing coversheets as requested.

• Attend meetings and generate minutes as necessary.

• Actively participate with teams for continuous quality improvement and production workflow.

• Provide input for constant improvement of the training process / procedure.

• Adhere to the Federal Privacy Act Laws.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Two (2) year advanced degree desired. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a minimum of 3 year directly related work experience.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security clearance; US Citizenship required.

• Ability to successfully complete the GSSC Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.

• Working knowledge and experience with personal computer (PC)

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Demonstrate professional telephone, written, and face-to-face communication skills

• Ability to organize and prioritize workload

• Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels

• Attention to detail and organized work habits
