Position Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Challenging senior PMO position in fast paced, high growth bio-tech organization. Successful candidate will have experience in assessing and implementing a plan to improve coordination across interrelated IT programs and projects. Assignment kickoffs with an assessment of the current state of inflight programs and projects, e.g., GPS, ERP, MES, client portal. Based on findings, program manager will develop and implement recommendations around standardizing and expanding process - such as change control, environment and change management, quality engineering, release planning.

In addition to strong PMO experience, candidate must have a solid understanding of development and quality lifecycles, environment management, and possess general technology awareness in order to leverage the technical and quality leads currently engaged at the project and program levels.

This position will provide senior exposure to the client’s operations and position the successful candidate with significant opportunities for growth.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Senior Program Manager initially joins team to assess current state of parallel and interrelated IT initiatives – ERP (supply chain, inventory, etc); Manufacturing (MEC); Client portal for scheduling; quality system

-Understand technology enough to understand the complexity of environment and change management. Likely required to establish a senior change board to coordinate parallel releases

-Engage technical leads and quality leads from each project/program to coordinate.

-Develop and implement standards across projects, e.g., naming standards for environments, change control processes to guide project efforts, etc.

-Ability to develop or evolve templates and processes that will result in significant improvement across programs.

-Understanding of various project lifecycle methodologies and ability to adapt projects and controls for coordination purposes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Senior PMO experience

Technical understanding – environments, change control board

Testing Quality understanding – able to ease the burden on interrelated test efforts through standard processes and reporting.

SDLC understanding – have worked with agile, waterfall, etc.

Experience in biotech (Desired)
