Position Description:

The Change Manager has an extensive knowledge of facilitating organizational change efforts, the ability to analyze and understand process impacts on people and technology to make recommendations that meet the organizational goals of creating and sustaining change. Provide support to the program leadership and stakeholders being impacted by designing organizational change management strategies, developing and implementing comprehensive plans, and delivering tools and techniques to escalate speed of change behavior adoption, mitigate resistance and reduce negative consequences for the project. Primary responsibilities include Conduct change readiness assessments, evaluates results and presents findings to the project team. Collaborate with the team to determine people impacts, and supports these teams to manage resistance and ensure people readiness. Creates metrics to assess change adoption and uses available analytics to ensure reinforcement of changes post go-live to optimize adoption.

FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

• Applies structured organizational change methodology, process and tools and supports change management activities

• Conducts change readiness assessments, evaluates results and presents findings to the project team

• Develops organizational change management strategies including Champion Team role recommendations

• Partners with Project Managers to integrate organizational change management activities into project schedules and manage and mitigate issues and risks

• Collaborates with the project teams to determine people impacts, and supports these teams to manage resistance and ensure people readiness

• Designs and/or supports the implementation of organizational change management plans including but not limited to change impact plan, leadership alignment plan, communication plan, training plan, employee impact plan, stakeholder engagement plan and resistance mitigation plan

• Coaches executive sponsors on ways to manage identified resistance

• Plans engagement recommendations and employs communication strategies to ensure successful project execution

• Creates metrics to assess change adoption and uses available analytics to ensure reinforcement of changes post go-live to optimize adoption

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Strong Background in Clinical and/or Research and Development

• Detail oriented with very good knowledge and understanding of tools including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project; knowledge of MS SharePoint is a plus

• Extensive knowledge of facilitating organizational change efforts

• Ability to analyze and understand process impacts on people to make recommendations that meet the organizational goals of creating and sustaining change

• Experience interacting with executive leadership

• Very good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• Highly organized and results oriented
