Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a painter to work 6:30am-3pm daily to support DOJ. Must be able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Paints and redecorates walls, woodwork and fixtures. Work involves the following: Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for different applications; preparing surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes and interstices; and applying paint with spray gun or brush. May mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial painting experience; experience painting historic/government buildings preferred

• Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Credit and Employment

• Strong reading and communications skills and ability to print clearly

• Physical strength/stamina to perform manual labor, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, lifting, etc. heavy items (40+ lbs)

• Ability to pay close attention to detail

• Ability to work well with others
