CGI is actively seeking a Content Management System Administrator to support and maintain a suite of heavily-used existing content management systems that control the daily operation of several websites. Tasks will include upgrades and updates to the core system software for content management systems as released by the manufacturers, creation and administration of user accounts and work areas, configuration and maintenance of deployment scripts, management of file system usage/space, creation of new WordPress blogs, pages, and site areas, creation of Confluence Spaces, support creation and maintenance of standard Confluence themes and templates, monitoring and testing backup processes, and troubleshooting user and performance issues. This is a long term position and work will primarily take place at client facilities in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Potentially remote during COVID.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide support and maintenance for the following systems:
• HP/Autonomy Interwoven Teamsite and OpenDeploy Content Management System
o Create new deployment for a web property
o Provide user support for a Teamsite user
o Remove OpenDeploy from a server
o Create new blogs
o Create new users on WordPress
o Upgrade the core WordPress Installation
o Add a new plug-in to WordPress
• Atlassian Confluence/JIRA
o Set up a new Confluence work space
o Provide a workflow to publish content to a web property
o Configure a JIRA project for an Agile team
• Search CMS
o Configure a deployment
o Connect the CMS API to a new content type managed in WordPress
o Update crawler settings for Solr
o Create a new TRAC project
o Configure a form for an existing TRAC project
o Create a TRAC report
• Media Management System
o Create a new grouping of videos
o Modify the media import form
o Manage media storage
o Import media content
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 2-5 years supporting Unix-based systems
• Familiar with the supported applications, technologies, and system functions:
o HP/Autonomy Teamsite
o HP/Autonomy Open Deploy
o Atlassian Confluence
o Atlassian JIRA
o Atlassian Confluence Plug-Ins
• Shall have the ability to effectively communicate both orally (in common English narration) and in writing (to include technical documentation).
• Shall have the ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, work independently, and work in a team environment.
• Shall be proficient in Microsoft® Office or later with particular emphasis on Microsoft® Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, and Project®, and other applicable database and office automation products.
• Shall be able to obtain a favorable determination from the Background Investigation.
• Shall be a United States citizen.
• Willingness to ask questions, find out information, seek understanding from others
• Cooperative attitude in a team environment
• Sufficient communication skills to create operational documentation and system diagrams
