CGI seeks a senior leader within the Banking/Financial Services vertical who is viewed as a trusted Systems Integration and Consulting Expert by the Banking/Financial Services industry.
Reporting to a VP, the Director Consulting Services will be responsible for growth and delivery of consulting services to Banking/Financial Services companies headquartered in Washington D. C., Maryland, and Virginia. A key focus for the leader will be to increase sales and revenue by building key business and IT relationships with target customers. A successful candidate will need to be able to find opportunities, identify the best solution, bring together the sale, and lead delivery of the engagements
This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to be local to DC metro area.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Director Consulting Services will maintain overall accountability for the sales, revenue, delivery and P&L of the target account. They will have a team of 15 to 18 members locally on their account, and additional members globally as the need arises. Additionally, the Director of Consulting Services will also be partially billable on the accounts for which they are responsible.
Success will be required across the following areas of responsibility:
• Build and grow the funnel of opportunities and lead expansion into our target accounts;
• Take a lead role in running the delivery of high end consulting services to complex organizations;
• Drive quality of delivery and customer happiness;
• Maintain and fortify relationships with strategic alliance partners;
• Leading and managing to achieve targeted revenue and margin
• Recruit new high quality members to CGI through solicitation and professional networking.
• Encouraging the development of the team’s capabilities and expertise in line with client needs/market evolution.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• A credible authority in the business operations of US Banking/Financial Services companies
• 10 + years of growing responsibility in a technology consultancy with demonstrated track record of converting client intimacy and trust into: consulting and systems integration sales, high quality project delivery, satisfied clients
• Demonstrated success building and leading executive (C-Suite) relationships within Banking/Financial Services companies.
• Ability to drive proposal, pricing, and contracting for multifaceted client initiatives.
• Lead P&L and financial accountabilities
• Experience with New Technologies, i.e., Agile, DevOps, Cloud, RPA etc. is a significant asset.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science or related field of study; and MBA would be preferred
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $151,200.00 - $288,700.00
