Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst IV to provide support in the Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) Division of DOJ in Washington DC.

This position is located in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office on Violence Against Women (OVW). Created in 1995, OVW implements the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and subsequent legislation and provides national leadership against domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. Since its inception, OVW has launched a multifaceted approach to responding to these crimes through implementation of grant programs authorized by VAWA By forging state, local and tribal partnerships among police, prosecutors, the judiciary, victim advocates, healthcare providers, faith leaders, the public, and others, OVW grants help provide victims with the protection and services they need to pursue safe and healthy lives, while improving communities’ capacity to hold offenders accountable for their crimes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Answer and manage multiline telephone directing calls or taking messages as appropriate

• Assist with preparing briefing materials for OVW

• Assist OVW with webinars, including developing and uploading PowerPoint presentations, using the Adobe platform, recording the sessions, and posting the final webinar

• Assist with gathering, evaluating, and compiling a variety of data, including editing and revising charts, for Congressional reports, budget submissions, and other projects

• Coordinate and manage multiple schedules for OVW Senior Management

• Collaborate with OVW Administration and Program Divisions on special projects

• Communicate on behalf of assigned Senior Managers within the office (including written and oral communication)

• Organize and manage internal working groups and assist with facilitation of such groups

• Preparing and revising written drafts on behalf of Senior Leadership

• Provide project management on long-term/large projects identified by the Senior Leadership

• Review for clarity and copyedit a variety of documents

• Respond to inquiries from the public and communicate with outside officials on behalf of the office, as needed

• Research legal and policy issues with short turn-around times, including coordinating with resource centers, DOJ library, OVW technical assistance providers, and researchers

• Serve as liaison with external stakeholders and federal partners

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ Years of experience managing senior leadership schedules

Active DOJ Badge / TS Clearance

Must be able to pass CGI Federal background check

Must be able to obtain DOJ MRPT clearance.

Hourly Rate: $43.61/hour (non-negotiable)

The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
