Position Description:

To support this goal, we are hiring a hands-on experienced resource to join our leadership team and support our operational management and business growth at a DHS component. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge and direct experience managing large-scale, complex information technology programs with Federal Customers, a focus on building true partnerships with customers, and a passion for the mission. Prior experience leading the development of mission critical web applications, using the Agile methodology, and/or experience in IT strategy/process re-engineering desired.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Serves as the on-site project manager for a large, complex task order and works with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the task order-level Task Managers (TM), Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and insuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

  • Manage overall activities of the order to include work assignments, roles and responsibilities for the scheduled project activities.

  • Be responsible for all work performed to meet the requirements of this order.

  • Ensure that Technical Staff has sufficient expertise and experience to implement the prescribed agile practices.

  • Participate in capture activities and proposal responses.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Direct experience, minimum 8 years, leading Federal IT projects focused on Development

  • Direct experience leading teams using an agile methodology

  • Prior experience and/or development of solution papers / white papers / proposals

  • US Citizenship and Ability to Obtain a DHS Component Level EOD

Preferred:

  • Direct experience, supporting DHS in a mission-focused position

  • Knowledge and prior delivery experience using the DHS SELC

  • Prior experience implementing/configuring COTS tools in Federal environments

  • Prior DHS EOD or DoD Clearance

  • PMP and ITSM/ITIL certifications
