Position Description:

Seeking an experienced SAP Federal Financials subject matter expert (SME) with strong customer service skills to provide support for the client’s core SAP financial system. This support may include analyzing SAP issues and proposing solutions, analyzing business processes and proposing SAP solutions, conducting informal training, assisting with error resolution and troubleshooting, and providing financial management guidance. Federal financial management/accounting and SAP experience is required. This candidate will work directly with the client on a regular basis, so should have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Analyzing and resolving SAP issues including General Ledger abnormal balances. This

includes running reports to identify transactions with issues, analyzing to identify the

root cause, proposing solutions, and assisting with resolving as needed.

• Working with other support teams to provide guidance on correcting issues across

different modules and process areas.

• Analyzing data to identify issues not yet reported.

• Assisting with other analysis tasks as needed.

• Providing expertise during meetings to discuss issues.

• Testing as needed.

• Documentation as needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Must have 5 years' experience of Federal financial management/accounting experience.

• Strong SAP Financials (FI), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), Materials

Management (MM) module, and SD (Sales and Distribution) experience.

• Strong experience with SAP Budgetary Ledger (BL) analysis to identify abnormal

balances and understand how to use BL correction transactions to resolve the issues.

• Ability to analyze SAP General Ledger posting relationships across different documents

for various processes.

• Ability to use the SAP portal to troubleshoot issues effectively with display access only.

• Federal financial management/accounting experience.

• Strong SAP Financials (FI), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), Materials

Management (MM) module, and SD (Sales and Distribution) experience.

• Strong experience with SAP Budgetary Ledger (BL) analysis to identify abnormal

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments and priorities.

• Ability to work under deadlines and productively in a dynamically-changing environment.

• Ability and desire to inform CGI management of tasking, issues, risks, and opportunities

as needed.

• Team-oriented, self-starter who owns work to completion.
